Here’s what several parents have expressed regarding their experiences and observations.

“My daughter, age 12, disliked reading and would only read if it was a graphic novel or if I read with her. She also couldn't recall what she read without assistance. I needed help and was introduced to Ms. Herzberg. My daughter went into the initial meeting not wanting to be tutored but was open to the idea. The first session she came out excited and wanting to go back. Her MAP scores are now in line with her peers. After a year of tutoring, she wants to read, will read on her own, comprehends what she reads, increased her speed, and is excited and able to share the details of the book. I'm so grateful to Ms. Herzberg for not only helping my daughter with her reading but also created an environment that was fun, enjoyable, and a safe space to make mistakes and learn from them.”

“My son struggled with comprehension, retention of the material that he read, with his focus, and with staying on task. He also struggled with his self-esteem because of all of these areas! Reasa Herzberg worked with him week after week, and made the transition in his reading skills. The amount of patience she had combined with understanding exactly where his skills were deficient, and not generalizing him in a broad category, allowed him to be able to understand more in-depth how to study, how to prepare himself, and for us as parents to advocate for him in the school system! HANDS DOWN SHE SAVED OUR SON FROM FAILING!!”

My daughter met with Reasa for tutoring a couple of times a week from July 2017 through the spring of 2018. When the school’s FAST reading tests were administered at the beginning of my daughter’s fourth-grade year, she tested out of the remedial reading program.
Reasa worked with my daughter again last summer to maintain and build upon what she had gained a couple of years ago. Reasa is a trusted professional and she is incredibly passionate about seeing kids succeed, helping people learn to read, improve upon, and overcome their educational struggles.”
