Reasa discovered Irlen® Syndrome while working with an adult who couldn’t read. A co-worker suggested trying colored overlays. When placed on the student’s reading book he was astounded. He stated he could see the words. The letters were no longer overlapping on the page. Reasa’s investigation into his reaction led her to Irlen® Syndrome. She became a Certified Irlen® Screener in 2018 and trained as an Irlen® Diagnostician in December 2023. She established her office, Irlen® Syndrome Omaha, in February 2024 where she screens and tints clients in Omaha, NE, and the surrounding area. As a private tutor, Reasa also screens and tints many of her students who now benefit from Irlen® overlays and filters.
